The Bid & Contract Team supports acquisition of new customers and retention of existing business by creating strategic and thoughtful responses to requests for quotes, proposals and contracts. They are experts in EBSCO’s product and service offerings and serve as a trusted resource and liaison for both office-based and customer-facing team members and executive management. The Bid & Contract Coordinator will be an integral part of this team, managing an assigned territory as well as contributing to other projects throughout the year.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepare, organize and complete responses to bids, quotes and RFPs (Request for Proposals)
- Create, maintain and track contracts via DocuSign
- Prepare letters, proposals and custom reports
- Provide assistance to Regional Sales Managers, Account Service Managers and members of office staff
- Maintain effective, professional communication with field representatives
- Update customer data, reports, monthly calendar and sales literature using internal systems
- Maintain customer marketing lists
- Other responsibilities as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree and 1 year of office experience or 3 years of office experience
- 3 years experience in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines
Preferred Skills:
- Should be detail-oriented with solid experience working with deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Must be able to communicate effectively with managers, employees and customers
- Must be able to function as part of a team yet work independently with minimal supervision
Target Annual Salary Range: $34,900 - $49,715. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
