Purpose:

Want to work for a company that values your contributions and listens to their employees? This is a great opportunity for a Payment Specialist to join ProHealth Desk. This position will be responsible for patient billing, researching claims, and collections or claims follow-up

Responsibilities:

- Verifies active coverage

- Verify Provider network participation

-Verify and Document Patient responsibilities for patients

- Document findings in patient charts.

- Works with practice managers to ensure proper patient amounts are being collected.

Qualifications and Skills:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· One (1) year experience in benefits preferred

· Knowledge of electronic billing system Preferred

Education & Experience

· Billing &Coding Certification preferred but not required

· Knowledge of insurance collections or claims follow up preferred
