Overview:
Functions as Benefits Coordinator for the Department of Human Resources. This position will be responsible for data entry of benefit records, employee file maintenance, and support of the HR department. This position will interface with all levels of employees, vendors, and former employees. - Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
- Customer service experience
- 2 years of Employment Benefit Administration Experience preferred
- Assist in administration of the benefit programs: transportation program, health insurance, dental insurance, retirement, life insurance, flexible saving accounts, disability, prescription, disease management and all voluntary benefits/work life benefits.
- Customer Service/education to employees and acts as liaison between employee and benefit plan/vendor and resolves/corrects any issues effectively and timely.
- Manage the transit plan and associated marketing for designed for the benefits department and locations under VHC
- Work with all vendors such as Arlington Transportation Partners and Arlington County community services for fulfillment of any related programs and requirements to stay compliant for the transportation program.
