Laila Way Behavioral Services is a behavioral health agency specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) that is based out of Philadelphia. We pride ourselves on providing function-based treatment to the individuals we serve. Laila Way Behavioral Services is expanding and hiring therapists to provide clinic-based therapy to children and their families!
- MUST HAVE A MASTER'S DEGREE in Psychology, Social Work, Education, ABA, or Counseling
We are hiring for the following shift:
- 8:30 am- 2:30 pm, M- F
We work one-on-one and small groups with children with behavioral diagnoses, such as ADHD, Autism, Mood Disorders, and other behavioral challenges. We provide a framework to help them grow and learn to the best of their abilities. We also work closely with the family to involve them in the therapeutic process. Our goal is to help children of all abilities to thrive.
This is a great opportunity for recent graduate students who have completed at least a year of practicum experience in mental health capacity.
Job Functions
- Provide group-based ABA therapy to small groups of children; provide feedback to the treatment team around the needs of the individual.
- Assist with the development and implementation of treatment plan goals for children enrolled in the program.
- Supervise behavior health technicians onsite.
- Introduce, practice, and review positive coping skills to a variety of children and their families.
- Model and practice respectful, assertive communication.
- Document therapy sessions and participate in treatment plan review and update.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Education, ABA, or Counseling.
And one of the following options:
- 1 Year full-time experience providing mental health direct services to children and young adults.
OR
- Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum
Clearances
- Act 34: PA State Police Criminal History
- Act 151: Child Abuse Clearance
- Act 114: FBI – Federal Criminal History Clearance
- Mandated Reporting Certificate
- CPR Certification
