City Pump is now under new ownership and we are looking for an experienced Bartender with excellent communication skills to serve BEER AND WINE ONLY to our guests. The Bartender will greet guests and offer drink suggestions. You will utilize proper equipment, change kegs and handle basic cleaning duties. To succeed as a Bartender, you should have a neat appearance as well as an engaging and friendly personality and positive attitude. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable. Must be 21+

Responsibilities:

• Inform guests about new beverages and specials.
• Maintain a basic working knowledge of beer and wine items, promotions.
• Garnish glasses, and serve beverages to guests.
• Checking identification to ensure guests are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
• Handling cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guests. Responsible for maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning the bar, and washing glasses, and equipment. Cleaning tables between food truck guests.
• Serve drinks responsibly.

Qualifications:

• Meet state minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Positive and engaging personality and a professional appearance.
• Knowledge of basic math and computer skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong task and time management abilities.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods of time, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $8.00 - $9.00 per hour
