Rust Back-end Developer
Location: Herndon, VA
Clearance: DOD Secret Clearance Preferred (ability to obtain a Clearance)
Rate: $90 to $120 an hour
Do you enjoy improving RHEL System performance? Have you worked with Mozilla Development? Programmed in Rust? Able to upgrade Linux using Go? Our team is looking for a Developer for High Performance Memory and Operational Safety to upgrade existing systems. This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a US Department of Defense Secret Clearance and work Onsite in Herndon, Virginia.
Basic Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience with Rust Programming (Go will be considered)
- Experience with Red Hat Package Manager
- Ability to improve Linux policy and processes to meet Safety Standards as well as RMF requirements
- Experience with version control (Git or Subversion)
- Virtualization platforms (Qemu/KVM)
- Container technology (OS Containers: FreeBSD jailiCore Virtual Accounts Linux-VServer LXC OpenVZ Solaris Containers Virtuozzo Workload Partitions)
Desired Qualifications:
- Web Development experience (.Net, HTML)
- Integration and Test within a Linux Operating System to meet RMF requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Similar degree preferred (12 years of experience in lieu of a degree)
