Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists.

We’re currently looking for an Occasional Babysitter in Poinciana, 34759
A lovely family in Poinciana, 34759 is seeking a backup babysitter for their 4 year old girl and 12 year old boy to start as soon as possible. The 4 year old will take some time to get out of her shell and the family is looking for someone who is willing to assist with this. She enjoys arts & crafts, helping in the kitchen, playing outside, and imaginative play. The 12 year old boy is very friendly and outgoing and enjoys playing video games and drawing. He has ADHD and at times may need some redirection/reminders to calm down. He is very friendly and loves to interact with people.
Care is needed intermittently, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-2pm or 6pm-10pm. There will typically be a minimum of 24 hour notice prior to when care is needed. A great candidate will be engaging, encourage no screen time, have great communication with the family as a whole, and be comfortable with being silly with the children. There are 3 friendly dogs in the home, however, no pet care is needed. The dogs will be in the same general area, so applicants must be comfortable with this. Everyone in the household is fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

- Schedule: Intermittent; Saturdays or Sundays, 10am-2pm or 6pm-10pm
- Compensation: $20 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Light meal prep; mac n’ cheese, pb&j, etc.
- Bathroom reminders + assistance for 4 year old
- Encouraging no screen time
- Engaging with children; pretend + imaginative play and being silly with them
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of paid professional preschool care experience as a babysitter, nanny, or in a daycare setting with children ages 3 years-5 years old
- Must be UTD on CPR certification or willing to renew prior to start
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be comfortable around friendly dogs; 1 small, 1 medium + 1 large
- Fully vaccinated preferred
- Non smoker
