Covert is extremely busy and has an immediate openings for technicians from entry level to experienced. We are looking for technicians with great work ethics and attitude to fit our outstanding team to provide best in class customer service.

Covert Auto Group opened the first automotive dealership in Central Texas in 1909, the Austin Buick Sales Company, now the oldest Buick franchise in Texas. For the next seventy years, the family owned and operated this sole Buick store in downtown Austin. Today, operating under its fifth generation of family members, Covert continues its position as Austin’s leading automotive sales brand. Covert Auto Group currently consists of: Covert Buick GMC Austin, Covert Cadillac Austin, Covert Chevrolet Buick GMC Bastrop, Covert Chevrolet Hutto, Covert Ford Hutto, Covert Ford Lincoln Austin, Covert Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Austin and Covert Collision Center.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle concerns
• Road-tests vehicles when required
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order
• Perform comprehensive multi-point inspections.
• Advise service advisors of needed repairs.
• Arrives at work on time and performs all assigned tasks.
• Maintain an organized and neat shop area.

Job Requirements:

• Pass background and drug screens.
• Valid driver’s license w/ good driving record.
• Willing to learn
• Good attitude and work ethic.
