I. Summary (Scope of the Job)
The Asset Operations primary responsibility is to perform fleet maintenance, greasing, lubing, tires changing, inspections and general repairs of Cotton Fleet and Assets, Food Trucks, van trailers, flat bed trailers, pickups and commercial trailers to the quality standard set by the company at the customer location driving a company provided vehicle

Key Responsibilities

· Drives to different customer job sites in company vehicle fully equipped with equipment and tools required to perform the maintenance services.
· Maintains company assets according to the customers or companies specific instructions using various equipment, welders, impact tools, pneumatic tools etc.
· Perform tire maintenance according to Company, OEM and tire manufacture specifications including but not limited to:
· Check and adjust air pressure of tires.
· Mount tires.
· Repair tires.
· Welding and fabricating
· Rotate and balance tires.
· Perform wheel alignments.
· Perform lube work according to Company and OEM specifications including but not limited to:
· Service grease fittings, universal joints and steering knuckles, using hand or compressed air powered grease gun.
· Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings and shackles.
· Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants.
· Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil.
· Add water to radiator and battery.
· Replace oil and air filters.
· Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs needed.
· Perform multipoint inspection.
· Inspect vehicles thoroughly after each clean to ensure it meets standards of quality of service established by the company
· Maintain the proper functioning of all service tools and equipment
· Reporting any damage, dent or spoil to the Supervisor
· Use hand tools and other equipment

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

I. Background Requirements:
Education:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Valid Driver’s License

Knowledge and Skills:
  • 2 years vehicle maintenance experience preffered.
  • CDL preffered.
  • ASE certified preffered.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact and diplomacy.
  • Able to stand and move throughout office/buildings and continuously perform essential job functions.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Must be willing to work outside
  • Ability to be flexible in schedule to meet operational needs. This may require working outside regularly scheduled hours or rotations.
  • Ability to travel for extended periods of time on short notice.
  • Motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
