We are looking for a motivated Service Advisor to join our team and act as a liaison between our customers and our service technicians. Duties of the Service Advisor include greet customers, listen to requests, schedule appointments, estimate costs and consult with mechanics regarding repairs. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry, excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, and strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. If you have previous experience in the automotive service industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Service Advisor will work directly with customers to understand their needs and provide our service technicians with the information required to provide excellent service.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and listen to their needs.
  • Work with customers to determine their vehicle issues and problems, and determine the repair timeline.
  • Consult with mechanics regarding necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive repairs.
  • Use your knowledge of our products and services to sell or provide in-depth information about available parts and service options to customers.
  • Answer questions about service outcomes and scheduling and booking appointments, vehicle drop-off, and vehicle pick-up.
  • Provide customers with information and advice on warranty protections, potential cost savings, and the advantages of trading in versus fixing their car.
  • Create and type up repair orders for service repairs.
  • Set up loaner cars for customers, if needed.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
  • Inform customers of changes in service and when their vehicle is ready to be picked up
  • Ensure all details on services rendered and costs are related to customers and process their payments.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the automotive field.
  • A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency with industry-specific software would be advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to communicate with mechanics, customers, and management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
