Do you have Rental Equipment Mechanic Experience?

We are looking to hire an experienced heavy equipment mechanic to inspect, service, and maintain our range of heavy-duty construction equipment at Kuck Mechanical, a family-owned commercial contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for driving to the job site , inspecting engines and equipment, carrying out services, conducting repairs, and providing routine maintenance to the fleet. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Driving to the job site.
• Inspecting trucks, forklifts, skid steers, and other heavy equipment for proper performance.
• Diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment.
• Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts.
• Repairing damaged equipment parts.
• Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty vehicles.
• Cleaning and servicing of machine attachments like winches, blades, and side booms.
• Performing major repair work when necessary.
• Consulting with other mechanics on smaller jobs.
• Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to management.
• Ordering parts as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have at least 2 year's experience as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic.
• Must understand computer testing technologies.
• Must be able to lift heavy machinery.
• Must have extensive knowledge of diesel engines and construction equipment.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must be willing and able to make the commute to Loveland, CO.
• Must have knowledge of job site safety.
• Must have the ability to work a 7am-4:30pm work schedule, Monday - Friday.
• Must be a reliable self-starter.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must own your own tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
