Opportunity

Repair and maintain the computer-controlled systems and robotic devices used within the facility to reduce human intervention and maximize efficiency. Duties require knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and computers. Technicians are to perform routine checks on automated systems, monitor systems, and isolate problems and perform repair. When problems occur, technicians are to determine if problem is electrical or mechanical from the computer system controlling the processor or schematicsassociated with equipment. Once issue is diagnosed, the technician must repair or replace any necessary components, such as sensors, cabling, valves, motors, or electricalwiring.

Responsibilities-Troubleshoot and correct problems by making mechanical adjustments and/or guiding others in those corrections.-Using Auto-Cad and inventor Software you must maintain, modify, and update drawings when changes are made within the Automation systems.-Train operators when changes are made within the Automaton systems.-Review and understand programmable logic controller (PLC) programming.-Stay abreast of new technology by researching new and innovative ways to improve production processes.-Clearly communicate verbally and through written documentation anychanges made to processes or equipment.-Engage operators, production, maintenance and quality personnel for improvements.
