FACTORY AUTOMATION SOFTWARE ENGINEER

If so, the Kirby Risk Delivered Services Team for Rockwell Automation has a role for you as a Factory Automation Software Engineer.

What will I do as a Factory Automation Software Engineer?

• Develop and identify software solutions by analyzing information needs, conferring with users, and researching systems flow, data usage, and work processes
• Design scalable, flexible, and reliable solutions
• Effectively apply and deliver new software technologies to support customer solutions
• Lead collaborative discussions between leadership and key stakeholders to realize system capabilities
• Create detailed road maps to guide automation projects from conception to final implementation
• Work independently and as part of a team

Want to know if you are a good fit? If so, you will meet the following criteria:

• College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or five years of equivalent work experience
• Have a software architect’s mindset to design scalable, flexible, and reliable solutions
• Passion for innovation with new technologies while looking for practical and effective solutions
• Able to experiment and test new ideas fast as a proof of concept
• Understand software development lifecycle processes
• Experience or interest in the areas of cloud and analytics
• Proficiency with database technologies with an understanding of the soft
• Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communications skills

What is the schedule? M-F 8 to 5
