As a thriving auction company since 1960, we have been busy selling everything from combines & tractors to tillable farm acreage, hay, and livestock. We also sell an array of assets including construction equipment, large estates, business holdings, and more! From that time forward, the company has experienced a continued growth pattern & an expansion of offered services.

The Auction Coordinator will be based out of our West Fargo, ND site. The focus of this role will be to work closely with the sales team to coordinate & list auction items as well as provide support to potential customers. This person will report directly to the Sales Directors & Sales Team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to travel to the auction sites to take photos of upcoming auction items, while working closely with the sellers in a professional & courteous manner
  • Work with administrative team to post auction items online at appropriate times, writing a detailed description outlining all key information to potential buyers
  • Assist potential & current buyers with any questions they may have regarding the auction items, auction process, or any other concerns that may arise before, during, and after the auction
  • Work closely with Sales Team to ensure a smooth auction process, from start to finish

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Vast knowledge of a variety of agricultural equipment is required
  • Background in agriculture & previous business experience is strongly preferred
  • Previous leadership experience is also strongly preferred
  • General knowledge of auction processes & procedures is a bonus
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office products

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Exceptional verbal, written, and customer service communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task with a deadline-oriented focus
  • Strong leadership mindset with the ability to organize
  • Strong attention to grammar, syntax, and appropriate agricultural industry verbiage
  • Ability to travel, with strong potential for overnight trips as needed
