The AT&T Connected Communities (ACC) Account Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for building relationships with property managers in assigned territory selling AT&T’s innovative communication and entertainment products with a focus on AT&T strategic consumer products (Video, Broadband, Voice, Mobility) at specific locations where ACC has contractual marketing relationships. The ACC Account Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for leadership, profitability, growth, and direction of all sales activities in the region. Managing relationships is key to the success of the organization. Proven experience in relationship management and demonstrated history of success in developing key accounts as well as cultivating working relationships with Area Sales Leaders and the Support Center Team is critical to success.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Initiate, build and maintain strategic relationships with AT&T Account Managers, Property Managers, and leadership
  • Training and motivating property staff to recommend AT&T’s consumer products and services.
  • Visiting properties within your assigned market and forming strong relationships.
  • Network to uncover additional sales opportunities and channels
  • Hold outside events at properties to promote AT&T products to new and existing residents
  • Assist clients with new orders as well as provide support for existing clients
  • Resolve complex account issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction
Essential Physical Functions:
The employee frequently is required to mobilize around the work area, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, and be present continuously at workstation for extended periods of time.
The employee must have the ability to use a computer mouse, keyboard, and other equipment typically found in an office or call center environment.
Essential Sensory Functions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk to customers and other employees and hear speech from customers and other employees.
The employee will need to regularly interact and communicate with others, including but not limited to, face to face communications, over the phone communications, and chat messaging communications. The employee must be able to comprehend the subject of the communication and take appropriate action, if necessary.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus, read and interpret, documents and instructions, frequent identification of letters, numbers, and symbols in a technology environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Travel is required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

SKILLS
  • Three or more year's successful sales management experience
  • AT&T sales management experience preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated high ethical behavior, unquestionable integrity, and character in business transactions.
  • Effective Communication Skills.
  • Strong knowledge of common business applications (Web browsers, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, process and project management experience.
  • Experienced professional with a good balance of risk taking and judgment, confidence, and assertiveness, open- minded and flexible - who demonstrates a "take charge" spirit.
  • Read and interpret documents such as operating/maintenance/procedure instructions and safety rules.
  • Experience with sales process management
  • Experience successfully meeting very tight timelines.
  • Write routine reports and business correspondence.
  • Speak effectively before customers or Team members of the organization whether individually or in groups.
  • Knowledge of principles and process for providing customer service, including but not limited to, customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively interact with all levels of organizational staff and company personnel.
  • Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, written/oral communication, and customer service skills.
  • Accept and implement verbal and written feedback.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Draw and interpret bar graphs and diagrams.
  • Compute rate, ratio, and percent.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • HS Diploma, BA or BS preferred in a related field or equivalent experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Valid Driver's License & Proof of Liability Insurance.
