- Make an Impact! The AVP is responsible for the vision, leadership and development of MLH Cancer Care, working with the Medical Directors. The AVP will Implement the comprehensive and unifying strategic plan that establishes the clinical, educational and research priorities for Cancer Services within MLH.
- Develop specific tactical and/or operating plans necessary to implement all phases of the cancer business plan, in collaboration with hospital Cancer Directors.
- Develop and Grow your Career! Invest in furthering your education through seeking certifications or advanced degrees by taking advantage of our Tuition Reimbursement! This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based upon your Full-Time status.
- Get Involved! Work with Cancer Medical Directors to enhance the relationships among physician colleagues to the MLH System, helping to build community awareness of MLH cancer service line.

Experience:
- Cancer service line or cancer hospital experience required.
- Candidates must demonstrate superior knowledge of the oncology care process and continuum of care; emerging issues and trends including new technology, reimbursement, managed care, and outcomes management.
- Candidates must demonstrate a solid record of at least eight to ten years of relevant management/leadership responsibility in a progressive health care organization.
- A history of successful interaction and influence with all levels of stakeholders including patients and families, physicians, nurses, senior leadership and community and regulatory agencies.
- Demonstrated thought leadership and continuous learning in the field.
- Proven experience in building strong consultative partnerships with diverse people across multiple functions. Must be a strong team player and collaborator.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in appropriate clinical discipline or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration with a healthcare specialization, public health/administration or in nursing administration.
Master's degree preferred.
