OVERVIEW:
The Associate Creative Director, Art will be someone with a solid branding background and big brand marketing experience. We are looking for someone who has strong concepting abilities with a portfolio to back it up. The Associate Creative Director, Art will collaborate with their writing partner to come up with breakthrough creative ideas that sell and will be expressed through the line in traditional TVC, Social, experiental, In-store and on packaging. They must exhibit strong conceptual skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be curious about product development and have good communication and time management skills. In short we are looking for an imaginative creative that is prolific, not precious, about their ideas and can take a brief and strategically realize it through ideas that bring it to life in numerous ways.
We are looking for someone who is super detail-oriented and ultra-collaborative. You should have a healthy appreciation for idea making, strategizing, understanding business, and how to bring it to life.
You MUST have at least 8 years of creative agency experience preferably with a thorough understanding of product marketing. Start-up experience is a plus.
Here are some of the EXCITING things you'll get to do:
- Develop the creative strategy for new product launches across the Shark and Ninja brands.
- Collaborate with research, product development and Brand managers, to generate strategies and concepts to support the Brands business goals and objectives
- Bring a demonstrated ability to concept for new products as well as naming and logo executions
- Possesses the experience to interface at the executive level, developing and maintaining relationships to accept change and iterate on the creative strategy.
- Has the ability, and passion to translate work with creative studio to oversee the visual manifestation of ideas and concepts
- Owns strong communication skills: written, verbal, presentations, Possesses basic copywriting skills relevant to the articulation of creative strategy
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:
- Show design excellence in all work across media: TVC, Social, product identity design
- Create high quality graphics, mock-ups, and designs to support the creative strategy
- Understands aspects of print production and pre-pro. Experience with pre-pro and on site film production
- Work closely with brand teams to manage creative deliverables
- Excellent at managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Participate in planning and strategy sessions
- Establishing and leading strategic design intent for various products
- Leading junior graphic design/ art direction staff
- Creating sketches, mood boards, layouts, POS, presentations, as well as manage 3D renders
- Collaborating on all design output as it relates to specific briefs
- Overseeing the delivery of materials for launch
- Working closely with production teams to ensure elevated output of all deliverables
- Bring multiple conceptual and design solutions for all assignments
- Is an active participant in brainstorming sessions
