The Role:
The ACD is a storyteller who leads a creative team towards understanding client goals and developing unique creative ideas. This person works on campaigns that span digital advertising, social media, experiential activations, and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in creative ideation and brainstorming
- Collaborate closely with copywriters to creatively solve our clients’ business challenges with breakthrough marketing ideas
- Understand and maintain clients' brand requirements, goals, and objectives while pushing creative boundaries
- Translate creative concepts into compelling designs and motion graphics pieces
- Direct art directors, writers and designers and collaborate with producers and developers to help make your vision come to life through final delivery
- Stay current with the latest trends, technology, social platforms and user behaviors
- Work closely with producers on timing and deliverables
- Continual self-education on creative authoring tools and a constant drive to hone your craft
- Bring a positive, problem-solving attitude to the team
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional design and art direction and creative development experience, at least 5 years in an agency environment.
- Experience managing creative team members to develop a successful creative vision
- Experience leading creative presentations in a client-facing role
- Stellar portfolio demonstrating standout sense of design, layout and typography (portfolios with interactive work strongly preferred)
- Ability to concept and design from scratch - with little to no provided assets
- Demonstrated understanding of social media platforms and integrated campaign thinking
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Desire to learn, grow, and contribute in a creative, collaborative environment
