The Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering and Science (SES) at Stevens Institute of Technology (Stevens) invites applications for a teaching assistant professor position (Non-Tenured) in mechanical engineering in the areas of solid mechanics, engineering design, and additive manufacturing. The successful applicant is expected to participate in all aspects of the department’s activities and serve the profession.
Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Candidates with a track record of success in teaching, scholarship, and educational training will be given priority. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to teaching and mentorship at undergraduate and graduate levels.
