About Parking Services

Parking Services assists in providing efficient campus operations by facilitating the parking needs for the university community.

Job Overview

Provide dynamic, hands-on leadership for the daily management and supervision of the Parking Services Field Operations staff.

Essential Functions

  • Direct and coordinate parking facility operations including inspection of parking facilities to ensure facilities and equipment are in proper working order; manage audit/reconciliation of all parking access revenue system and special event revenue; provide service to customers.
  • Coordinate employee orientations and staff meetings. Develop/revise employee handbooks, policies and procedures as needed.
  • Coordinate all parking for special events on campus. Oversee the Parking Services Call Center and Field Services Enforcement for Uptown, Blue Ash, Clermont, and Reading Campuses. Oversight of Fifth Third Arena clean up and staff scheduling.
  • Act as a liaison with UC Athletics, Admissions, Orientation, etc. to plan and Coordinate game day and event parking.
  • Plan, develop and implement special parking programs including special parking requests, Golf Cart/Gem Car Rental Program, and space utilization studies to maintain adequate usage of available facilities.
  • Responsible for programming and tracking special events through Parking software including online parking sales.
  • Develop an approved budget for purchases/repairs and supervise payroll for staff.
  • May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Experience

  • Three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
