Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Campaign Initiatives reports to the Executive Director, Foundation Campaign and will develop and implement management solutions and strategies that prioritize and guide campaign activities, projects, events, communications and initiatives. The Assistant Director will work collaboratively with the Executive Director and Foundation leadership to achieve key campaign objectives.
Pay Range
Minimum $25.43 Midpoint $38.14 Maximum $50.85
Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
  • Required: Minimum of three (3) years of progressive responsibility in leading management and operational priorities to successfully achieve organization-wide initiatives.
  • Preferred: Four (4) or more years of progressive responsibility in leading management and operational priorities to successfully achieve organization-wide initiatives.
Education
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic/professional experience.
  • Preferred: None.
Training
  • Required: None.
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of principles and practices of philanthropy.
Specialized Skills
  • Required: Able to work independently with little or no supervision; Possess sound critical thinking (analytical) skills to identify and proactively implement process and change management; Possess strong project management skills with experience overseeing complex, long-term initiatives (multi-year); Able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, well organized, detail oriented and able to appropriately prioritize without direction. Strong database skills. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; provide leadership; be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction; work well under pressure; problem solve. Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Able to type at least 60 WPM. Able to operate standard office equipment including, but not limited to: phones, voicemail, computer, email, photocopiers and facsimile machines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to follow instructions effectively both verbally and in writing. Able to edit and compose grammatically correct correspondence.
