Growing Uvalde based company seeking energetic and motivated key player for our accounting team. $45K-$70K year.

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in a small to mid-sized business accounting environment.
  • Very good computer skills including Excel and experience with Windows PC and remote/network environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing controls and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience in integration of front-end accounting systems with company General Ledger.
  • Experience producing accurate reports and financial statements against deadlines.
  • Experience training and managing bookkeeping staff.

Typical duties of this job include:

  • Month-end financial statement production, analysis, and executive summary explanations.
  • Integrate multiple data sources into accounting system to enhance efficiency.
  • Prepare and/or review monthly financial statements for multiple companies.
  • Monitor and audit balance sheets for accuracy.
  • Control and audit sub-ledgers to ensure they reconcile with General Ledger.
  • Develop and monitor internal processes to ensure accuracy.
