ASSISTANT BUYER at UNKNWN Miami LLC

Walnut Ridge has offices in Northeast Ohio and Brooklyn, New York. This position would be located in the UNKNWN retail business located in Miami, Florida.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Buyer to be part of our UNKNWN retail business. The Assistant Buyer will report to the Founder & CEO as well as VP of Operations. This person will support our team by maintaining positive vendor relations, creating and tracking purchase orders, and managing inventory.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Overall

· Track purchase orders with vendors to ensure product is received within expected timeframe.

· Create and load new styles in POS.

· Establish positive relationships with vendors for favorable pricing and long-term relationships.

· Assist with monitoring and maintaining suitable inventory levels.

· Responsible for verifying vendor invoices and submit for approval and payment processing.

· Responsible for verifying web orders and payment when suspicious to prevent fraud.

· Work with receiving to ensure timely receipt of inventory.

· Effectively communicate with OH, Warehouse, and Miami teams.

· Process the entire purchase order to include data entry into Shopify.

· Compile reports on product performance and statistics

· Assist with receiving and processing new inventory.

· Assist in other areas of business when necessary.

Accountabilities:

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Data Entry experience preferred

Knowledge and Skills

· Previous experience in the merchandising or retail industry preferred.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

· Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.

· Experience with merchandising software system, Shopify, is a plus.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
