Arizona Central Credit Union is seeking an experienced Assistant Branch Manager for our Phoenix location!

All ACCU employees are expected to assist the Credit Union in meeting strategic objectives and participate in the growth and success of the organization. In addition, the position will be responsible for; opening new accounts, processing member transactions and loan applications, and assisting the branch manager with all activities associated with branch operations.
Summary of Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies member financial needs and offers solutions and products to meet those needs.
  • Assists the branch manager in developing and communicating clear expectations for staff.
  • Assists the manager with the hiring, direction, development, training, motivation, and discipline of branch personnel to consistently meet member needs as well as meeting branch goals in support of the credit union achieving its strategic goals and objectives.
  • Actively engages with members to build business and increase branch loan production. Works with staff on strategies to increase branch membership and grow loan production.
  • Processes loan applications in accordance with credit union policies and procedures. Offers members ancillary products on loans to help protect members and the credit union.
  • Monitors workflows, applications, and finished work to ensure compliance with credit union policies and procedures.
  • Assists branch manager with monthly compliance audits.
  • Manages branch effectively and efficiently when the branch manager is absent.
  • Develops and maintains business partner relationships within the surrounding community and works collaboratively with the Partner Alliance department to increase branch membership.

Experience: Three years of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
