ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Kumon of Waco is in need of teaching assistants to help with the general supervision and management of students. You will work under the direction of the classroom instructor and be expected to assist in preparing for class and operations of the center during class time. The successful candidate will be ready to work with all students to promote educational development of their Kumon studies. The ideal applicant will be caring, patient, understanding, organized and efficient. The assistant must be attentive to each student while identifying proper solution when students encounter issues. You should have strong interpersonal skills, as you’ll be collaborating with other assistants, working with students and talking to families. • Assist with classroom instruction and provide support and guidance to students

• Maintain a supportive, safe and clean classroom environment

• Work closely with the Kumon instructor to prepare for class. This includes pulling, dating work for the upcoming week and preparing folders for the next class.

• Grading and recording

NOTE

Applicant must be available Mondays and Thursdays in the afternoon till closing at 8PM and Tuesdays in the afternoon till closing at 6PM.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
