Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the preparation and submission of documentation by drafting initial versions of correspondence; routing to appropriate individual(s) for review; incorporating necessary changes; and finalizing the document.
- Performs fiscal transactions by reviewing the budget for the department; maintaining financial statements; overseeing expenditures; notifying the supervisor of potential overruns, and handling cash.
- Must be comfortable working in laboratory environment and assist in laboratory operations when required.
- Assistance with personal and professional calendar, including coordination and scheduling of meetings, calls, events, meals and travel
- Perform other administrative or work-related duties as assigned.
- Assist with laboratory operations and lab technicians (prepping samples)
- Receive and enter sample information into the computer system as applicable.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
– Degree in Science or equivalent work experience in a laboratory setting.
– Must be able to work with various chemicals, building materials, and sample specimens.
– Must be able to differentiate colors accurately by sight.
– Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
– Must have flexible schedule as position will include evenings, weekend and holidays, based on customer need.
– Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Skills:
– High level of accuracy is required, with special attention to details.
