Lake Behavioral is looking for dynamic, customer service focused mental health technicians to join the Assessment and Referral team.
The Assessment & Referral Department is a fast paced, 24 hour a day department that ensures all service inquiries and referrals are screened, assessed and processed timely, confidentially and therapeutically.
The Assessment & Referral Technician is responsible for assisting in the process of receiving, scheduling and/or referring inquiry calls, assists the A&R Clinicians, Coordinators and Director with coordinating assessments, initiating Intake paperwork and insurance information. Works to ensure a smooth transition into the admission process.
The technician also assists in monitoring to assure the safety of the patient.
Education: Bachelors’ degree preferred.
Experience: Experience working in a hospital intake department or business office preferred.
This position is Part-Time 3:00pm-11:00pm
