Liberty Defense Group is looking for an Armed Security Specialist to join our team. The Armed Security Specialist is responsible for protecting the client and assigned property from any criminal activity or trespassing.

The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication, excellent observational skills and previous surveillance experience, preferably in a law enforcement environment. This person should have the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations while exhibiting patience and a superb attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Provides a Safe and Secure Environment in the Cannabis Industry for Clients and their Customers
• Provide a Visible Deterrent to crime/criminal element
• Provide a professional appearance
• Provide professional, courteous interaction with Clients and their customers
• Provide professionally trained, armed Security in the unlikely event of an emergency or attempted criminal activity
• Clear and Concise Communication (both written and verbal)
• To be familiar with MSP Rules, Regulations
• Punctual reporting, timely response
• Maintain competence with updated rules, regulations, and policies
• Adaptability, flexibility with Customer requirements, site necessities
• Uphold Company Values and remain vigilant in their duties
• Maintain an open and fluid connection with the management
• Be supportive, respectful, team oriented towards co-workers, be willing to work together to accomplish Company goals with positive outcomes
• Remain open and positive to change as necessary to meet both Company and Customer requirements
• Maintain a sense of humor, remain flexible

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand or sit for long periods, and detain an individual if necessary
