We are seeking highly motivated Armed Security Officers to fill various positions on government facilities at locations in Dallas, Arlington, Fort Worth and Mesquite.

Duties and job functions may include lobby desk, foot patrol, control center, access control, emergency response, and risk management. The ideal candidates’ traits: exceptional people skills, professional image, attention to detail, takes ownership, commitment to team success, outgoing, and driven.

Responsibilities:

Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence

Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property

Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area

Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations

Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts

Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions

Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation

Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Proven experience as security officer or guard

Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety

Familiarity with report writing

Excellent surveillance and observation skills

Have a current Texas DPS security guard level 3 license

Must have a valid driver's license
