Position Summary:
The Installation Apprentice assists an Installation Technician with various types of appliance and plumbing fixture installations in residential homes. This may include dishwashers, ovens, over-the-range microwaves, stove and cooktops and water heaters, depending on the level of experience and comfort of the Lead Technician. The Apprentice will have opportunities to learn and develop life-skills in time management, organization and basic maintenance using trim plumbing and electrical skills.
Key Functions:
- Responsible for assisting in the delivery and installation of residential appliances and fixtures, such as Dishwashers, Ovens, Microwaves, Cooktops, Ranges, Faucets, Water Heaters, etc.. to the customer?s satisfaction.
- Learn plumbing and electrical skills from the ground up.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, provide quality work, maintain, and track all equipment, supplies and tools
- Responsible for daily, local travel to customer sites in provided company vehicle (with Installation Technician)
