Job description

The function of this position is to manage, mentor, and grow our production (apartment painters that work in Lansing MI and throughout Michigan on larger projects) team in skillset, ability, and quality. This person MUST have extensive experience in painting apartments (brush and roll) to be able to learn our way and train others on our system. The preferred candidate will have several years of apartment painting and be skilled in customer service.

The Production Supervisor position will report directly to the Managing Partner and Owner (eventually Production Manager). The primary function of the Production Supervisor position is to oversee the production team and to cultivate and train team members. They will prevent production problems, create systems for efficiencies, plan project hours to profitability, maintain project timelines while properly communicating with the customers, and build skillset on the team. The expectation is that the Production Supervisor will be self-motivated, able to problem solve, have attention to detail, and possess excellent communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
