Position Summary:
The Demand Analyst partners with the forecast & replenishment team to develop, implement, and maintain the inbound and outbound capabilities including promotional and holiday demand across the entire ADUSA frozen automated network.
This role will play a critical role as a thought partner and problem solver for the system users within Demand in addition to leadership in brand category and retail ops in three great local brands. Acts as a system expert with an intricate understanding of how automation system operates and uses that expertise to consult with the third-party provider and leaders on user experience, issue resolution, automation and efficiency recommendations, and project support.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads collaboration and consultation with third-party frozen provider, in-stock, retail ops, category teams, and control tower teams to drive optimizations, efficiencies, automations and resolve issues in support of business process improvement.
Partner with the third-party frozen provider to ensure smooth and accurate flow of inbound and store order information to the automation systems.
Utilizes exception-based analysis and forecasting accuracy to identify optimizations and solutions across the org and then test and implement these requests to drive sales growth, maximize inventory investment, and drive business process improvement.
Identify business rule changes needed based on system data and analysis. Make recommendations to all stakeholders in the business based on findings.
Lead rapid response to system issues surfaced by demand and brand leadership, identifying solutions and coaching leaders through resolution or impacts.

Skills/Abilities:
Position requires occasional travel to retail locations for research or specific initiatives and helps maintain a 24/7 on call rotation
Strong root-cause analysis skills
Exceptional attention to detail/near zero error rate required
Comfort and preference working within a highly technical environment
Strong training, coaching and consultation skills
Excellent organizational, planning, influence, communication, and presentation skills
Able to distill complicated data and analysis into actionable recommendations, guidance, and conclusion
Ability to influence without authority and drive extensive cross-functional collaboration and communication

Experience/Education:
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in merchandising, pricing, logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Distribution Operations
Expert Microsoft Office.
Expert Software development/SQL Coding
Experience and expertise working with analytical tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Alteryx.
Bachelor’s Degree Mathematics, Economics, SCM, Logistics, IT, or other relevant subject expertise; Master’s Degree preferred.
APICS, IBF, or MIT certification preferred.
