We are looking for an Analog/mixed-signal IC designer with in-depth knowledge of state of the art analog IC design & verification tools. Key Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of transistor operation and device physics as applied to analog design
- In depth knowledge designing building blocks like OTAs, OpAmps, PTATs, BGRs, LDOs
- Deep knowledge of mixed-signal design techniques e.g. small-signal analysis, feedback loop theory, noise analysis
- Knowledge of high-speed ADC architectures & design of e.g. Continuous Time Sigma Delta (CTSD) ADCs, Successive-Approximation-Register (SAR) ADCs
- Knowledge of high-speed DAC design e.g. current-steering DACs
- Extensive hands-on experience in mixed-signal design verification
- Broad knowledge of Matlab and Verilog-A modelling
- Experience in scripting languages to automate simulation & verification tasks e.g. Python, Tcl would be desired
- Proficiency in English language is required
Description
In this role, the key responsibilities are the following but not limited to: Development of high performance analog mixed-signal IPs Generate all relevant circuit views for a complex design flow e.g.Verilog-A models, timing views Run post-layout simulations and validate top level integration Drive the layout activity Review lab measurements
Education & Experience
PhD/Masters Degree in Electric Engineering with relevant experience
