Job Title: Amanda QA Analyst

Location: Lansing, MI

Duration: 12 Months

MUST provide own equipment – Remote work is acceptable, but onsite (Lansing, MI) visits may be required at key points in the project.

Job Description:

The Quality Assurance Analyst/Tester must have extensive experience and skills in Manual QA testing and have a solid understanding of all types of testing. The ideal candidate would have prior experience

in testing the AMANDA enterprise permit and licensing application from Granicus (formerly Calytera).

Responsibilities

· Participate and contribute to the development and documentation of the test plan.

· Develop and document test cases and success criteria scenarios during development of user stories.

· Follow test plan and test strategy set at the project level by adhering to standards and ensuring quality of the deliverables

· Review business requirements for AMANDA by Granicus back office as well as portal and provide inputs on any identified gaps based on test scenarios of positive and negative conditions.

· Provide inputs to Developers and Solution Architect on AMANDA by Granicus fitment of business requirements.

· Validate all the Business Rules, Validations and Conditions in AMANDA by Granicus as well as in the web portal.

· Validate data and documents migrated from Legacy system to AMANDA by Granicus.

· Perform migration testing with legacy data, new data created in AMANDA by Granicus, or a combination of both, and old features (unchanged features) and new features.

· Execute test cases and report bugs in Azure DevOps

· Participate in Agile Process including test effort estimations and by providing daily updates in Stand-ups.

· Maintain Test Scripts/ cases by constantly updating them based on the changes in the business functions based on demo feedback as well as UAT feedback.

· Classify test cases into Smoke Test Suite, Regression Test Suite, Positive Test Cases and

· Negative Test Cases as defined at the project level.

· Smoke testing for each deployment/ release

· Regression testing when changes are implemented that have impact to other areas.

· Document defects and bugs with all the required details identified during testing.

· Appropriately mark the defect severity to drive priority to development team for fixes.

· Troubleshoot and triage defects and bugs.

· Create User Acceptance Test Scenarios for the SME’s and assist Business SMEs during User

· Acceptance Testing

· Collaborate with project team on a regular basis to provide inputs to maintain quality standards.

General Skills – Required

· Highly skilled at Manual QA testing (8+ years of experience preferred)

· Hands on experience with testing internal business applications and public/client web portals

· Experience in various Testing methodologies like Black Box Testing, Functional Testing, Regression testing etc.

· Experience in applying different testing principles to design efficient test cases with a motive to ensure test coverage and quality.

· Experience in documenting and executing test cases for varying scenarios and conditions.

· Experience in documenting and evaluating test results.

· Experience in reviewing test procedures and creating test scripts.

· Experience designing test plans and test scenarios.

· Ability to write and execute SQL queries (Oracle and SQL Server databases preferred)

· Experience troubleshooting and tracking defects.

· Experience in fixing bugs and working with the development group.

· Ability to work in a dynamic environment and come up with solutions to meet project needs.

· AMANDA Related Skills – Highly preferred, but not Required - AMANDA is a solution from Granicus (formerly Calytera).

· Workflow capabilities

· Manual testing of Amanda by Granicus software

· Knowledge of personalization features

· Knowledge of security features

· Experience conducting folder, people, process info validation.

· Knowledge of fees and payments

· Experience conducting checklist validations.

· Knowledge of Task lists

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
