Hello,

Disclaimer: This position is very part-time, meaning about 2-5 hours per week at the start, with the potential to earn 10 hours per week (or more hours during holiday seasons and breaks) after a few weeks. **So, please don't plan on moving to the Pinellas County area solely for this job.

With that said, we are looking for both head coaches and assistant coaches for our Spring 2023 after-school basketball programs. Most of these school programs take place March to early May.

Job Details for Energetic Youth Basketball Coach

• Hours: Most of the programs take place around 3pm-4pm. Each school's program lasts for 6 weeks, one day per week, one hour per week (e.g. every Monday at the same elementary school campus, 3-4pm, for 6 straight weeks).
• Grades: K-5th for the after-school programs.
• Locations: We have our biggest needs in the Clearwater/Dunedin area. We also have some programs in the Seminole/Largo area and North St. Pete area.
• Pay: Head coaches earn $40 per 1-hour class, and assistant coaches earn $30 per 1-hour class.
• The head coach is expected to be very responsible, which includes running the program at the school (or other location), communicating consistently with the Director, showing up early to set up, bringing a lot of energy to the players, etc.
• There will be a brief training, and coaches can use a combination of their own drills in addition to United Ballers' basketball drills/lessons.

About us: United Ballers Youth Sports provides high-quality basketball, track, and soccer lessons and camps for kids ages 4-14. Our coaches have several decades' worth of playing and coaching experience.

Applicant needs to be energetic in working with both beginners and those with some experience.
