UNC Physicians Network is currently seeking Physician Assistants and/or Family Nurse Practitioners to join our Virtual Practice Primary Care Team. UNC Health Virtual Practice offers asynchronous E-visits, scheduled and on-demand video and telephone visits for a range of primary care conditions, allowing patients access to convenient, personalized care that fits their schedule, 365 days per year.

About This Position:

• .1 FTE, working one, four-hour shift per week. Day and evening shift options will be available for weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Virtual management of acute and chronic primary care needs
• No call
• Remote position, offering the opportunity for work/life balance with no commute

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice medicine as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of North Carolina
• DEA License
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)

Ideal Candidate:

• 2+ years of primary care experience is required
• Experience with behavioral health is a plus
• Open-minded and flexible with change
• Strong virtual presence
• Effective time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in the interest of providing efficient patient care
• Dedicated to developing new and exciting ways to deliver care
