Colonial Behavioral Health provides opportunities for recovery to individuals and their family members in the areas of mental illness, substance use disorder, and developmental disabilities. Colonial Behavioral Health serves the citizens of James City County, City of Poquoson, City of Williamsburg, and York County.

Colonial Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Therapist to provide coordination, oversight, and direction for all Adult Outpatient (AOP) Individual and Group Counseling Services, Central Access, SUD Case Management and AOP Peer Recovery Services.

Job Duties:

• Oversight of Adult Outpatient Services staff performance with regard to compliance with agency policies and procedures, regulation, and individual performance expectations coordinator conducts supervision and staff meetings in both in-person and via tele-health platforms.
• Responsibilities include supervision of the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and coordination of the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Service.
• Manages grants received by the AOP Department.

Work Schedule:

Position works Monday thru Friday; no weekends. Limited Opportunity to Telework.

Skills and Qualifications

• Must possess leadership skills – ability to develop strategies and plans; facilitate, implement, coordinate, supervise and monitor assigned employees on behalf of outpatient services; and participate in agency and community meetings. a comprehensive recovery-oriented treatment plan according to agency guidelines.
• Clinical knowledge related to the assessment and treatment of those with mental health, substance use disorders and co-occurring MH/SA disorders.
• Three years of clinical and supervisory experience in mental health and substance use disorder preferred.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Master’s Degree in a human services field required.
• Must hold a valid license from the Board of Counseling ( LPC, LCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LSATP)_ required_
