Administrative Coordinator - Part-time
Job description
Cheltenham Township is seeking a highly-organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent communications and interpersonal skills to bring order to a fast-paced, chaotic work environment by providing administrative and project support to the Administration Department.
Duties include, but are not limited to: organizing and maintaining office correspondence, files and records; reconciling bills; creating and maintaining spreadsheets and databases; drafting and/or proofreading correspondence, resolutions/ordinances, and other documents; preparing meeting agendas, presentations and reports; transcribing meeting minutes; providing excellent customer service to residents; helping manage and prepare grant applications; assisting with project management; ensuring deadlines are met; coordinating meetings; and providing general clerical, administrative and project support as assigned.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; minimum of seven years administrative experience (preferably in the public sector); proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the Internet; and the ability to take and transcribe dictation, and maintain strict confidentiality. Must possess good analytical, organizational, and written and oral communication skills and be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Successful applicant will be well-versed in long term and short term electronic and paper records management and have excellent grammar and proofreading skills. Evening work is not required; any meeting minute preparation will be managed through meeting recordings.
This position is on-site and part-time and will require 25-27.5 hours per week, with flexible hours
The salary range for this position is $25.00 to $35.00 per hour, dependent on qualifications
