Job description
Under the general supervision of the Internal Medicine Residency Coordinator, incumbent will provide support to the Internal Medicine Residency and other Medical Education programs within the Department of Medicine.

$26.14 - $37.46 (Hourly Rate)
Required:
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
1-3 years of relevant work experience with Bachelor of Arts/ Bachelor of Science in related field, or equivalent experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills to produce clear and concise documents and emails of professional quality and effectively communicate and build collaborative working relationships with a large and varied number of campus/internal and external community members. Demonstrated office diplomacy, professionalism, and discretion. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.) Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize workload; ability to work independently and use initiative; and to organize and follow through with complex tasks to meet deadlines, in an environment possessing frequent interruptions. Ability to define problems, identifies relevant factors, formulate logical conclusions and suggest solutions. Ability to independently prioritize, manage, execute and follow through with projects. Ability to independently investigate issues, compile data and make recommendations for action; involve management support and escalate issues as appropriate.
Preferred:
Demonstrated working knowledge of electronic medical record and financial reporting systems. Demonstrated working knowledge of University financial systems, policies, and tools. Prior experience working in UCI electronic medical record systems (e.g. Epic). Prior experience providing business services at an academic institution.
