MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries. We primarily design and manufacture chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces. Our high-performance functional coatings improve resistance to wear and tear, such as hard chrome plating of shock absorbers for cars or provide corrosion resistance for appliance parts. Our decorative performance coatings apply finishes for parts in various end markets such as automotive interiors or jewelry surfaces. As part of our broader sustainable solutions platform, we also provide both chemistry and equipment for turnkey wastewater treatment and recycle and reuse solutions. Job Purpose

Maternity leave cover, 1 year.

Stage gate Project management:

To help project stakeholders understand the development process, prioritize project components, manage a realistic project scope, identify risk and provide fluid communication among all interested groups during the project life cycle of global Stage Gate projects.

Formulation Management:

Maintain formulation data in ERP systems and support consolidation and transfer activities by protecting critical confidential IP.

Raw Material Management:

Support supply chain with consolidation and qualification activities for raw material data to ensure constant high product quality.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage data for chemical products and raw materials in PLM and ERP systems.
• Standardize chemistry related data from different sources using a defined data model.
• Support raw material qualification and identification of equivalent materials.

STRATEGIC FOCUS:

• Build intercompany relationships
• Monitor the utilization of predefined KPI’s and standardized methods to ensure product and raw material specifications are met

• Foster the use of professional project management in R&D and inter-departmental process flows

Candidate requirements

• Education in the field of Chemistry as a lab assistant or similar profession
• Experience with chemicals as raw materials and in mixtures e.g. in the area Quality Control or Product Development
• Good communication skills
• Fluency in English and German
• Excellent skills in project management and data processing
• Advanced skills in MS applications Excel, (Teams, Planner)
• Experience with master data management in SAP

• A high share of remote work is possible
• Full-time or part-time position (70-100%) is possible
