Activities Assistant Leader: The Memory Care Activities Assistant-Leader will assist in creating/providing appropriate social activities for the home’s Assisted Living/Memory Care residents while maintaining the respect and dignity of each person. The Activities Assistant-Leader Assists in creating a monthly activity calendar, implements scheduled recreation activities, assists in coordinating appropriate entertainment, taking direction from the Memory Care Coordinator and Director of Activities. This person also attends/assists in resident special events/holiday celebrations and off-site trips. He/she will also update the orientation boards in living areas on a daily basis.Also, cleans, disinfects and straightens up each area after an activity is complete and understands resident’s needs for patience, tactile stimulation, sensory stimulation, redirection and remains calm in all types of situation. Ability to drive the agency bus a plus. Part-time positions: 1.Required to work Sunday, Monday, 10am - 6PM, 2. Required to work 2-3 weekdays and one flexible weekend day, 3.
Required to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 10am- 6PM. All Part-time positions will require some flexibility pending resident need and occasional evening hours with notice.
