HMK is a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) company that has been proudly serving many counties in Southern California .

HMK Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Recently opened a new office in Montclair California .

HMK is looking for two Accountant Receivable Clerks .

If you like a fast -paced environment,are computer savvy and have good interpersonal skills , we would like to hear from you. If you would like part time work , we may be able to accommodate that too

  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and maintain all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Receive and review all new orders entry requests, and process them into the accounting software
  • Process billing requests and create invoices for both time and material
  • Receive incoming phone calls and transfer appropriately
  • Provide customer service to those customers who are inquiring regarding invoicing questions.
  • Process credit cards using Square for those customers requesting to pay by CC
  • Enter customer payments, and complete lien releases when necessary
  • Review accounting receivable aging on a weekly basis and collect on past due invoices

Required Skills and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional phone manner.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer proficiency - MS Office. Microsoft Excel, Quick Books
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Montclair Ca. 91763 Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

  • Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Accounts receivable: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Quickbook Intuit : 2 years ( preferred)

Work Location: In person

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
