We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the Engineering industry. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will work closely with our accounting and finance team to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process invoices, ensuring timely payment and accurate record-keeping
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports as needed
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve any payment issues
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Work closely with accounting and finance teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Continuously improve accounts payable processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with business management software, such as QuickBooks or SAP
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred
