Academy Bus is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team.

As an Accounts Payable Specialist at Academy, you will support all aspects of accounts payable processing and become a trusted partner and contact for our vendors, management team, and employees.

This position is located in our corporate headquarters in Hoboken, NJ and will enjoy free onsite private parking or easy access to public transportation.

Core Responsibilities:

• Review and process a high volume of vendor invoices and payments for multiple locations
• Ensure compliance with company policy
• Research and respond to vendor and internal inquiries
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies
• Perform statement reconciliations
• Maintain positive vendor relations
• Assist in month end and year end closings
• Provide internal customer service for management and employees
• Analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and take action
• Actively engage with accounts payable team and leadership

Desired Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts payable
• Experience with account reconciliation
