Title: Accounts Payable Associate

Reports to: EVP of Finance

Position: Hourly - Full-Time

Location: On-Site

Summary:

The Accounts Payable Associate is an integral support role in the accounting operations of Blake Thermal Sales & Service, Inc., the leading provider of thermal energy solutions in the Northeast. Website - https://www.blakethermal.com/

The ability to maintain accuracy while meeting internal and external deadlines is critical to being successful. Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

• Accounts Payable
  • Timely process vendor invoices to ensure all payment discounts are obtained and late payment charges are avoided.
  • Correctly code expense invoices; verify proper approvals; and confirm that company spending policies are adhered to.
  • Investigate discrepancies and communicate with co-workers to resolve discrepancies
  • Correspond with vendors regarding missing invoices, price discrepancies, and other items, as needed
• Cash Disbursements
  • Identify weekly disbursement requirements
  • Process disbursements
  • Maintain cash disbursements forecast
• Other duties
  • Complete vendor credit applications and set up vendor in system
  • Obtain and maintain subcontract insurance records
  • Obtain and maintain vendor IRS W-9 forms
  • Administer fleet fuel and transponder programs
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• 1 - 2 years Accounts Payable experience
• Oracle's NetSuite experience a plus
• Intermediate MS Excel experience a plus
• Attention to details a must
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
