Accounting Manager - CPA - Single Family Office - Exceptional Job
Job description
The Accounting Manager will be an integral part of a new single family office, providing diversified administrative and day-to-day financial support directly to the principal and other management team.
This opportunity is exceptional - a great deal to direct work with the principal (a hard-charing healthcare entrepreneur in his early 40s) and on a variety of very interesting projects and new businesses in addition to the day-to-day work of a family office.
This role is ideal for someone who is in the top 10% of accountants who are entrepreneurial in mindset and want to be positioned for senior positions in portfolio companies.

Duties
Responsible for providing multiple clients with a variety of accounting and administrative services, including but not limited to:
- Accounts payable processing
- Researching and resolving issues or discrepancies with accounts, bill pay or invoices
- Responding to client requests and inquiries
- Managing vendor relationships, requests, and payments
- Monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Performing monthly reconciliations of credit cards and providing reports as needed
- Assisting with year-end reporting of 1099s
- Managing charitable contribution letters for annual tax packages
- Handling special projects as needed
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance
- CPA
- 6 years of accounting, accounts payable or bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks expertise
- Microsoft Office expertise
- High attention to detail, problem solver & intellectually curious
- Adhere to the highest level of confidentiality
Applicants must be able to pass a background check and must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
