Position Overview:

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to add to our team!

This position is open due to an internal promotion.

We are looking for experience in at least one of the following areas:

• Construction accounting
• Residential real estate accounting
• Commercial real estate accounting

Public experience will be considered as well.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in their career. This person will gain exposure to all aspects of real estate accounting and work directly with the controller and CFO.

This is not a remote position. It will require working in our office located in Canton, MA Mon-Fri.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The manager will oversee a staff of 5.
• Oversee bank reconciliations, financial analysis, and budgeting.
• Maintain accuracy of property rent rolls, financial reports, budgets, and cash projections.
• Assist with HR duties
• Ad hoc accounting and financial projects.
  
  

The right person for this job will have the ability to work independently, have excellent communication, strong attention to detail and be intellectually curious.


Qualifications for the Accounting Manager position:

• Candidates should be confident presenting financials.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Proficient in financial software systems applications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows software programs.
• Yardi experience is a plus.
