Key Staff is currently hiring a temporary Accounting Clerk to work with Orange County, FL

Great as a entry level position!

As the job title indicates, the General Accounting Clerk will perform a wide variety of accounting related duties including, but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and cashier.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES/ASSIGNMENTS:

  • Provide routine accounting support and perform accounting duties of moderate complexity under general supervision.
  • Proficiently use automated accounting systems and spreadsheet software.
  • Process vendor invoices for payment to include coding, matching and check release. Audit vendor invoices for proper authorization(s).
  • Research vendor inquiries.
  • Manual or on-line posting to Accounts Payable system. Reconciliation of statements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent and one year of general accounting experience.
  • Minimum keystroke speed of 10,000kph Ten key by touch. Ability to work independently in a high volume environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills.

Schedules:

Monday through Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm

Pay Rate: $14.16 per hour
