ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE

As an Accounting Associate, you’ll be a vital team member who processes financial transactions, accounts payable, expense reports, and/or payroll for a group of clients.

  • Salary: Depends on experience
  • Job class: Can be FT or PT; can be a flexible, hybrid schedule

  • Reports to: Team Lead, Accounting Associates
  • Location: US-based remote position, or work at Cedarstone’s headquarters in Wheaton, IL

  • Travel: If remote, approximately 1-2 short trips annually to Wheaton, IL

Responsibilities


  • Financial transactions. Process financial transactions, follow client processes and control policies, respond to client questions, and research solutions to client problems.
  • Accounts payable. Prepares and processes client invoices and wire transfers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Expense reporting. Process client expense reports, and export payment information to the general ledger.
  • Payroll. Process client payroll in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain client data.
  • Teamwork. Assist in client onboarding, maintain client relationships, train and support other team members, and provide backup coverage to other Accounting Associates.
