We are seeking an Accountant to sit in our Blackwood, NJ office.

We are seeking an Accountant to sit in our Blackwood, NJ office.
Responsibilities:
- Performing all month-end closing functions including bank, payroll, payable and general account reconciliations, journal entries and general ledger
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports, as needed
- Assist in the establishment of regional reporting
- Assist in the establishment of an annual budget, monitor income and expenditures, identify and implement corrective actions when variances occur
- Review and prepare journal entries necessary to properly record monthly revenue and expenses, along with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in monthly preparation of an internal balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow statements together with supporting schedules that clearly describe the financial condition of the corporation and identify areas that require the attention of management
- Prepare supporting documents for year-end audit and financials
- Assist with process improvement, policy development and documentation among Staff Accountants, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams
- Maintain best practices in all areas affecting the accounting process
- Create a fun, cooperative and creative work environment for staff to engage and maintain high levels of productivity and satisfaction
- 3-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Prior close experience
- Experience performing month-end close
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliations
